Kingston Transit Riders — Our Voice

Privacy Policy

This isn't legal advice. It's a plain description of what this site collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect

  • Nothing, right now, if you use the contact page. The "Get in touch" link opens your own email client — we never see or store that message unless you choose to send it.
  • Aggregate page views through Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. This runs regardless of your cookie choice below.
  • If you accept cookies when asked, Google Analytics tracks your visit to help us understand what's working. Reject, and it won't run. You can change your answer any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
  • We use Google Search Console to see how this site performs in Google Search results. It doesn't track visitors or set any cookies — it only shows us aggregate search data Google already collects on its own end.
  • Email signup isn't live yet. The sign-up form on the homepage doesn't currently send anywhere. When it does, we'll collect only the email address you provide, ask for your express consent first, tell you why we're collecting it at the point of signup, and give you a working unsubscribe link on every email. This page will be updated the same day that feature ships.

What we don't do

  • No Google Fonts, no Meta Pixel, no chat widgets, no embedded social feeds.
  • No selling or sharing of any data with anyone, ever.
  • Google Analytics never loads before you've made a cookie choice.
  • No third-party analytics beyond Cloudflare Web Analytics and (with your consent) Google Analytics.

Your rights

If we ever do hold data on you (e.g. once email signup is live), you can ask what we have on file, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact kingstontransitriders@gmail.com.

Third parties

Cloudflare hosts this site and runs its cookieless analytics. Google Analytics runs only if you accept cookies. Google Search Console shows us aggregate search performance data, with no visitor tracking on our end. Once email signup goes live, Resend will handle sending — its own privacy practices will apply to that specific processing, and this page will link to them at that point.
