Accessibility Statement

This site targets WCAG 2.2 AA. That's an ongoing commitment, not a one-time claim — this page says plainly what's actually been done and what hasn't, and gets updated as the site grows past its current single page.

Done

  • A visible skip link jumps past navigation to the main content.
  • Every color pairing actually used for text is contrast-tested, not assumed — including catching and fixing a real bug during build where white text on the brand orange/blue buttons fell short of AA (2.4:1 and 3.1:1); both now use adjusted combinations that clear 4.5:1.
  • Real semantic HTML — proper landmarks, one `<h1>` per page, no fake buttons.
  • The email field's focus outline is intentionally replaced with a visible colored ring rather than removed outright.
  • No accessibility overlay. Real semantics only, verifiable by inspecting the code.

Not done yet

  • No formal audit has been run — that happens before real content ships, not before this page exists.
  • Touch target sizing (44×44px minimum) hasn't been explicitly checked yet.
  • The service updates accordion isn't built yet — when it is, it'll use native `<details>`/`<summary>` for built-in keyboard and screen-reader support rather than a custom-built widget.
  • Alt text has only been tested against the logo so far — no other real images exist on the site yet.
